Meet the Editor

Victoria Chen is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Linguistics and Applied Language Studies at Victoria University of Wellington. With interests and expertise in syntax and historical linguistics, her research centres on two areas: the morphosyntactic typology and the evolutionary pathways of the Austronesian language family. She actively advocates for the documentation and conservation of underdescribed languages, as well as the celebration of linguistic and cultural diversity.

In line with this interest, Te Reo warmly encourages submissions related to the description and analysis of understudied languages, as well as works from students and junior researchers.
