Submission guidelines
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission’s compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
Submission Preparation Checklist
Submissions are in English or in Māori. (Articles in English have the option to include an abstract in Māori, at the authors’ discretion).
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed, and I have removed all information identifying the author(s), such as title pages, acknowledgements, or author information in headers and in the document’s property information.
The text must follow a consistent linguistics style and adhere to the general guidelines proposed by Haspelmath (2014).
The submission file is in Microsoft Word or PDF format.

Submission of an original manuscript to Te Reo will be taken to mean that it represents original work not previously published, and that it is not being considered elsewhere for publication. Once accepted, your paper will be downloadable and shareable for free from the journal website, in accordance with open access guidelines.
